Of hemlines and line graphs

They say that fashion and economy have a rather funny relation. So, they say. And, what they really say is that the movement/sentiment of the economy is inversely proportional to the hemline of the clothes. So, if the economy is tanking, the hemlines are rising, aaand if the economic sentiment is on the uprise, well the hemlines are lowering.

Now, I will show you the following pictures from Spring 2012 RTW, and then you decide which way the economy is or is headed. And, while you are deciding don't forget, there are jobs out there waiting for you (if you are looking for one). Please, the economy (no matter how it is), will always have openings for who are willing and able to work hard. Good luck my darlings (if you are looking for a job)...you deserve nothing but the best, and you will get the best!

So, what does the last dress (above right) say? If the inverse proportion theory holds true, we are in economic boom time,  right? right?

Have a wonderful Tuesday!
